Burner ATMOS A 85 with pneumatic cleaning
Code: H0033Related products
Product detailed description
- for pellets, for boiler D85P, power 24–80 kW
- suitable for high-quality white pellets from softwood without bark with a diameter of 6 - 8 mm, length of 10 - 25 mm and calorific value of 16 - 19 MJ/kg. The advantage of the burner is automatic fuel ignition using a heating coil, which ignites the pellets whenever heating is required. The burner and boiler operate at full power with the highest efficiency of 85 to 90% and best combustion quality. Unlike many competing products, which do not have ignition devices and must always maintain a glowing layer in the combustion chamber.
Such low-power operation, when the flue gas temperature drops below 100 °C, causes condensation of soot and acids in the combustion chamber and chimney. This causes lower efficiency, higher fuel consumption, worse combustion quality, greater soot accumulation in the boiler and more frequent cleaning. The ATMOS A 85 burner is equipped with pneumatic cleaning as standard, which cleans the combustion chamber at each afterburning or at regular intervals. Thanks to the pneumatic cleaning, it is sufficient to check the burner only once every 14 – 30 days. Burners are not intended for dark pellets.
The ATMOS A 85 burner has the same control method as the A 25 and A 45 burners, so for these boilers, we can use the function of controlling the burner according to temperatures in the thermal storage tank or in the solar storage. This is enabled by a set of four temperature sensors. The D80P boiler with the A85 burner is always connected to a buffer tank with a minimum volume of 1000 l, where we use the function of controlling the burner according to two temperatures on the buffer tank and control of the boiler's exhaust fan directly from the burner.
The electronic unit of the burner allows the operation of the burner to be controlled using four sensors so that if the sensor on the solar panel detects that it is advantageous to heat the buffer tank with energy from the solar collector, it ensures the regulation of the burner to charge the tank with energy from pellets only up to the level of the TK (TS2) sensor, which is located in the tank between the TS and TV sensors.
The burner operation works as follows. If the burner receives a start command or if there is a need to heat, the conveyor feeds pellets into the burner throat and the heating coil ignites them itself. After sufficient heating of the pellets, the burner reaches the set power and remains at that level until the system is heated. Then the burner turns off and the pellets in the burner chamber burn out. The whole cycle is repeated whenever there is a further need. The boiler power and other functions of the burner are controlled by the electronic regulation of the burner, which allows the boiler operation to be adapted to specific conditions of the entire system.
The burner allows a large number of individual settings described in the operating instructions.

Through the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency’s national projects Zelená domácnostiam (a Slovak subsidy programme), family houses and apartment buildings will be able to obtain support for installing small systems that use renewable energy sources. The support may only be used for equipment that meets the technical conditions and is registered. Most ATMOS boiler types (marked with the logo) are eligible equipment, and you can apply for a subsidy. More information can be found HERE. |
