In industry, services and in households where hard to very hard water must be used, the installation of a water softening device is a suitable solution. Problems associated with increased water hardness affect not only some public water supply pipes, but of course also water from private sources (typical areas are then water sources in karst or limestone substrates).  

By installing a suitable water softener, it is possible to gain control over the formation of limescale in the given building (for production process technology, hotel, restaurant, pension operations, but of course also in family homes). A key advantage is the ensurance of cleanliness of heat exchanger surfaces against mineral scaling, which significantly reduces appliance performance. By limiting limescale formation the lifespan of appliances that use or produce hot water is extended. Water softening is also a matter of comfort, where it leads to protection of sensitive plumbing taps, outlets, shower, or massage heads, sets and ceiling rain showers. By preventing the formation of deposits, commonly insoluble limescale, it is also easier to clean sanitary fixtures and maintain their aesthetic appearance.
