Application:

• Sealing of metal and plastic threads according to ISO 7-1 up to 4" for water, gas and compressed air pipe systems
• Connecting drain valves and pipe branches
• Installation of compressed air pipes

Application method:

• Clean the thread and, if necessary, roughen it.
• Wind the sealing thread around the thread under tension (in the direction of the thread).
• Wrap the thread over the grooves of the thread.
• Tighten the joint to achieve compression around the circumference.
• Adjust the valve to the required position.

Consumption:

• The number of wraps depends on the thread diameter.
• A 160 m package is sufficient for 400 threads (1/2" metal threads).
• In the case of joining plastics, double the number of wraps is required.
