Product detailed description
ADEx Comfort R - serves for boiler control (original version Adex Comfort 12).
This controller follows the type ADEx Comfort 12.
It retains all its functions for controlling the heating circuit, but offers a new approach and new options in boiler, storage tank and water heater connection, plus it includes a pump contact for TUV.
Boiler return protection controller, serves:
1x pump and 1x 24V servomotor, pump or valve for TUV, includes 3 x temperature sensors.
Output for a two-pole thermostat.
1. Heating system with boiler temperature control

This connection can be used advantageously for boilers where it is necessary to maintain the recommended operating temperature. These can be solid fuel boilers as well as gas boilers. Since the boiler output temperature is regulated by controlling the temperature drop on radiators, it is possible to operate heating systems with an imperfect circulation in the boiler circuit reliably. The controller can also handle installations where the boiler circuit is not created at all.
The controller thus maintains the required boiler temperature in a system with a four-way and three-way mixing valve. In a system with a four-way valve and a boiler pump, it also indirectly ensures the maintenance of the required minimum temperature of the return boiler water.
Domestic hot water heating is ensured in both winter and summer modes.
2. Solid fuel boiler house with a backup boiler in the heating circuit

If the temperature of the solid fuel boiler is insufficient, the controller closes the mixing valve and switches to operation with the backup boiler. The backup boiler then switches in a 10-minute cycle to maintain the required temperature in the heating circuit.
The backup boiler can be electric or gas and must be equipped with its own circulation pump. A gas boiler must be sufficiently resistant to low-temperature corrosion.
Domestic hot water is heated only by the solid fuel boiler. The temperature of the extracted hot water can be regulated by a thermostatic mixing valve installed at the boiler outlet.
3. Solid fuel boiler house with a backup boiler in the boiler circuit

The connection can be used for single and multi-circuit heating systems with a backup boiler. The backup boiler can be gas or electric. If the temperature of the solid fuel boiler is insufficient, the controller switches to operation with the backup boiler. The backup boiler is permanently switched on, and the temperature in the heating circuit is regulated by a mixing valve.
Domestic hot water heating is ensured in both winter and summer modes.
4. Solid fuel boiler house with a storage tank and a backup boiler

In the "Charge AKU only" connection, the controller heats the building only when the storage tank is charged to the required temperature.
If the temperature in the storage tank and the solid fuel boiler is insufficient, the controller checks whether the tank is discharged to the temperature selected by the user. If yes, the controller closes the mixing valve and switches to operation with the backup boiler.
The user can thus determine the level of discharge of the storage tank. Before the backup boiler is switched on, the storage tank is always discharged at least to the temperature set by the user.
The backup boiler can be electric or gas and must be equipped with its own circulation pump. A gas boiler must be sufficiently resistant to low-temperature corrosion.
5. Solid fuel boiler house with a storage tank with the possibility to connect a water heater for controlled TUV heating

In the basic connection, the controller delivers heat from the boiler directly to the building. Only excess heat, which the building does not need, is stored in the storage tank.
In the "Discharge AKU only" connection, the controller starts heating the building only after the storage tank is charged to the required temperature.
If the tank is discharged, the controller turns off the circulation pump, closes the mixing valve and waits for a new fill in the boiler.
A TUV heater with a charging pump can be connected to the storage tank. The controller then switches the charging pump according to the TUV thermostat (TTUV) regardless of the temperatures on the K and V sensors.
