gas appliances are classed as designated gas equipment. In the Slovak Republic, only appliances that have been approved for Slovakia by a notified inspection and certification body in the Slovak Republic and that are supplied with the relevant EU Declaration of Conformity may be sold, installed and operated. Our statutory obligation in the event of a product defect liability claim is also tied to this.
Junkers and Bosch products purchased outside the territory of the Slovak Republic are not approved for operation here.
If any service or installation company commissions products purchased abroad for you, it is acting unlawfully and exposes itself to the risk of legal sanctions in the event of any accident connected with the operation of the product.
In such cases, the statutory obligation of Robert Bosch, spol. s.r.o. in connection with product defect liability claims ceases to apply.
