Thermostat AVANSA 110-C.
It is designed to control the heating pump.
The function of the thermostat is to switch on the pump when the temperature exceeds the set value and to switch it off if the boiler cools down (due to its shutdown).
This prevents unnecessary pump operation, which allows saving electrical energy (depending on the boiler usage, the savings can be up to 60%) and extends the pump's lifespan.
This increases reliability and reduces maintenance costs.
The pump switching temperature is set using a potentiometer (in the range of 10...90°C).
The pump is turned off if the measured temperature drops by 5°C below the set temperature.
Switching on or off of the pump occurs approximately after 30 seconds - this prevents the pump from switching on and off due to sudden temperature changes.
The controller has, in addition to the potentiometer, also 2 switches.
The first one is used to switch the controller on/off (indicated by a red LED).
The second one is used for manual pump activation (green LED).
LED functions:
- Green LED: the device is in automatic mode, switching the pump on/off depending on the set temperature.
- Green and red LED: the device is in automatic mode, the pump is switched on regardless of the set temperature. The device is protected by a fuse inside the housing (on the printed circuit board).
